The front deck is a favorite gathering place in summer for people and hummers! It overlooks one of the best fishing streams in the area and during a spring or summer evening, you might see a doe and her fawns frolic in the meadow. |

Rustic Setting Strawberry Hill Cottage is located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Wilds, midway between the Kinzua Dam in McKean County and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon in Tioga County. The deck overlooks a meadow which leads to one of the best fishing streams in the area. On a warm summer night, you may see a doe and her fawns playing in the field, almost oblivious of your presence. You will hear crickets chirping in the meadow and watch hummingbirds feeding at arm’s length. In spring, the chorus of “Peepers” will herald the coming of warmer weather. Sit at the kitchen table and enjoy a variety of birds feeding just feet away; watch rabbits playing under the apple trees, and occasionally, you may catch a glimpse of a Pennsylvania black bear heading to the creek for water or to fish. |
